Mindy and I (check out our blog from our time in San Francisco at www.savannamindysanfran.blogspot.com) were the last to stay in Portland after our wonderful DTS reunion. We went to Multnomah Falls in the mourn and were absolutely amazed at God's creating nature! I particularly like the first picture - taken at a smaller fall a minute before reaching Mult. My second attempt at capturing the flow of a stream.
www.ZachKispert.com and I had a great time taking photos of kids at my sister's elementary school "Stomp Dance" the night before Halloween! I went as "All-American" and Zach as a penguin, but the kids there had the best costumes! They were hilarious!
This Friday, Zach and I will be taking photos for my little sister's school's Ho-down themed fundraiser. It's a volunteer gig, but will be able to pass out info for my photography. Planning on getting some good business through this, and if not that, I will have a great time seeing my kid siblings and dancing with them. :)
I spent a fall day at Picha's Pumpkin Patch and corn maze with great friends. Unfortunately, my camera died a few minutes into it. But, I got a few. More lensbaby! The picture above was taken from Zach Kispert's camera - he set it up on a self timer.
I'm borrowing a lensbaby from a friend! My friend Mollee and I were having coffee downtown, and decided to go test it out. She's beautiful, so it helped, cause that little lens it tricky! The weather and colors were very generous to us that day.
Red Barn Studios in Chehalis, WA is an extremely beautiful venue! I assisted in an elegant wedding there with Stepheni Mason, and was able to produce great shots of a wonderful couple and their wedding day!
I had the opportunity to capture the precious moments for a few friends of mine on their wedding day! It was an honor to be a part of their special day, not to mention there were plenty of people there that I knew from our community, so it made it even more special for me (and of course, the beautiful couple)! I also did a few of their engagement shots. They turned out beautifully!
Bri and I took a trip to Tacoma to drop off clothing at Urban Xchange. She found an awesome jacket, so we decided to do a photoshoot since it was good weather. The red sassy jacket was fun, but I like the shots with her pea-coat better. We had fun, and now she has some great shots she gets to share with her family back in CA.
Hey there, viewers! I decided to start out a new blog that I plan to update when I do shoots or have a desire to share something relevant to that day. I won't be posting much previous work, but you can see all my older stuff at www.flickr.com/photos/savannawatkinson.
